“For my Woodstock bass this year, I wanted to have a somewhat subtle/minimalistic approach to my theme, The Little Prince. A favorite book of many, I wanted to include some of the iconic imagery, like the hand drawn stars from the cover in the fretboard, the moon-like surface of the headstock, and of course, the prince himself on the truss rod cover. The body color is a Ferrari blue, used to represent the night sky. Tonally, this bass leans very much in the traditional camp with solid Alder wings, hum cancelling Fralin J pickups in vintage position, and a stunning Indian Rosewood fretboard, an unusual feature for the Spector Custom Shop.” – Wil
