The Schecter Stiletto Studio-5 Bass in See-Thru Black Satin (STBLS) features a neck-thru construction with ultra access, a mahogany body, a flamed maple top, a flat top contour, and black chrome hardware. The bridge is a Schecter Diamond Custom Bass bridge. This is a right-handed instrument.

The maple/walnut multi-ply neck has a Thin “C” profile and a rosewood fingerboard with abalone offset dot inlays. It includes a 16″ (406 mm) fingerboard radius, 24 X-jumbo frets, and a 35″ (889 mm) scale length. Neck thickness measures .787″ (20 mm) at the 1st fret and .866″ (22 mm) at the 12th fret. The nut is a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq with a width of 1.771″ (45 mm), and the truss rod is a 2-way adjustable rod with a 5/32″ (4 mm) Allen nut.

Electronics consist of EMG 40HZ pickups in the neck and bridge positions, with master volume, blend, and 3-band EMG active EQ controls. Power is supplied by an 18-volt battery compartment with screw plate.

Additional features include metal knurled knobs with set screws and Ernie Ball 5-String Super Long strings (.045–.130).
