At the core of the AZ24S2 is an Alder body, known for its well-balanced tone and rich sustain. It’s paired with a Roasted Maple neck, which has undergone a special heat-treatment process to enhance stability, durability, and resistance to environmental changes. Combined with a fast-playing Jatoba fretboard and jumbo stainless steel frets, this neck is built for technical runs, expressive bends, and consistent performance.

Equipped with a pair of Ibanez Modern Custom humbuckers, the AZ24S2 delivers a bold, articulate voice with plenty of output and bite—ideal for overdrive and distortion tones. But it’s not just about raw power. The dyna-MIX10 switching system unlocks ten unique tonal variations, allowing you to toggle between humbucker and single-coil modes, or activate Power Tap mode for convincing single-coil clarity without sacrificing fullness.

The T106 tremolo bridge features six individually adjustable saddles for precise intonation and string height, while locking machine heads provide excellent tuning stability—even under aggressive tremolo use.
