Ibanez introduced the Artcore Series in 2002 and they have proved the hollow-body guitar of choice of musicians for the last 10 years. The Artcore’s combination of quality workmanship and affordability has created legions of fans from diverse genres as blues, country, rock and jazz. Musicians can find the purity of an old school style jazz-box to a hybrid semi-hollow rocker. The Artcore Series is highly respected for its tone, sustain, the way they hold their tuning, and just how this series continues to push the boundaries of guitar building.

This model uses two uncovered and slightly hotter Infinity R humbuckers and has binding around the neck and body (but not f-holes), with dot inlays along the fretboard. It utilizes a traditional intonatable bridge and stop tailpiece. As is standard for most arch top styles of guitar, the body and top are laminated.

This AS53TF is also very reasonably priced, and has consistent sound and build quality above most others sharing a similar price range.
