The HOFNER Contemporary Violin Bass – Sunburst is a 4-String Electric Bass, and the Contemporary Series version of the ever popular Violin Bass. The Contemporary Violin Bass features a completely Hollow Body consisting of a Flame Maple Back and Sides that are joined by a Spruce Top, a combination that hasn’t changed since its first inception and one of the main factors of its signature sound. The Body is joined by a Slim Profile Short-Scale Flame Maple/Beech/Flame Maple Neck that is topped with a 22-Fret Jatoba Fingerboard with White Pearl Dot-Inlays.
