This is the actual guitar available for purchase. We have tried to capture its individual wood grain pattern as accurately as possible. It weighs 8 lbs 12.2 oz.

Please note that this is a Special Factory Run Gold Top with a Slim 60’s Neck Profile as opposed to the traditional 50’s neck profile that are found on the original and most reissues.

The Heritage Core Collection H-150 electric guitar is built in our factory at 225 Parsons Street, Kalamazoo, and features a select maple or curly maple top with an ultra-light mahogany body. The guitar is finished in nitrocellulose with a vintage gloss, that adds a subtle shine and ages beautifully over time.

Heritage Guitars was founded when a team of luthiers in Kalamazoo, Michigan found themselves with a once in a lifetime opportunity. Their employer, a historic guitar manufacturer, had finished a decade long process of relocating manufacturing to Nashville Tennessee. When faced a decision between moving south or continuing an 82 year manufacturing legacy, the choice was obvious.

Today the craftsmen at 225 Parsons Street produces many of the same models of guitars, more or Les, with the same attention to detail and level of quality, with many of the same machinery, that have found their way into the hands of some of the worlds biggest rock stars, and bluesmen, and jazz greats, and players of all genres and skill levels.

Guitars from the Custom Collection are made by Heritage’s top luthiers and use some of the finest lumber stock available for the most well balanced, eye catching and resonate guitars that you would expect from a factory that has been making classics for over 100 years. 225 Humbuckers are made with AlNiCo III bar magnets and wound in the same manner as the original holy grail Patent Applied For pickups first made in this very same factory. The headstock shape and “Heritage” logo design honor designs which were originally used in the factory from 1928 to 1936.
