The Fender Custom Shop introduces the Bass VI DLX Closet Classic – a meticulously crafted tribute to Fender’s six-string basses from the 1960s. With it’s moderate finish checking and lightly oxidized hardware imparted by the DLX Closet Classic aging process, this bass looks like a well-preserved 60-year-old instrument. A trio of Custom Shop ’62 Jaguar® pickups, vintage wiring and controls, along with the classic Aged Firemist Silver finish on the Bass VI come together to evoke all the best in this cult-fan-favorite.

Other premium features include 2-piece select alder body, quartersawn maple neck with ’60-style Oval “C” back-shape, flat-laminated rosewood fingerboard, 7.25″ radius, 21 medium vintage (47095) frets,

3-ply mint green pickguard, vintage-style “floating” tremolo and bridge, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, wing string tree with tall metal spacer, deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
