Fender Custom Shop 63 Stratocaster RW Journeyman Masterbuilt Todd Krause – Sherwood Green Metallic
Masterbuilt precision with timeless style
This 1963 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic was crafted by Master Builder Todd Krause, blending vintage character with modern playability. The alder body is finished in lacquer and aged Sherwood Green Metallic, giving it a worn‑in look that feels authentic without being overdone.
The rift‑sawn maple neck is paired with a AAA rosewood fingerboard, shaped to a comfortable 60s Oval C profile. Medium vintage frets, a 9.5 inch radius, and a smooth taper from .850 inches at the first fret to .950 inches at the twelfth make it responsive and easy to play. Micarta dot markers and vintage‑spec details keep the look period correct.
A hand‑wound 60/63 Strat pickup set delivers the sparkle, warmth, and bite that define early 60s tone. Wired with a 5‑way CRL switch and vintage Strat circuitry, this guitar covers everything from glassy cleans to gritty edge. Relic’d hardware, parchment plastics, and a green‑black‑green guard complete the build.
Includes a vintage‑style hardshell case and certificate of authenticity. Made in USA.
