Includes Authentic Swagger – The Fender Custom Shop 1969 Stratocaster Heavy Relic Guitar – Aged Vintage White – CHUCKSCLUSIVE
1969 was a great year for music and for Fender® guitars, and this 1969 Heavy Relic Stratocaster picks up just the right amount of extra swagger from its combination of authentic “big headstock” Fender style with a more contemporary feel and modern switching. Along with the distinctive large headstock for that year, the ’69 Stratocaster® includes a U-shaped maple neck with round laminate rosewood fingerboard, a three-ply pickguard, and a custom ’60s single-coil pickup set. With it’s select light weight solid ash body, this Strat has a sharp attack that projects a resonant tone with punchy upper mids and excellent sustain. Hand-wound Custom Shop ’69 Strat Relic single-coils are joined by a five-way switch and modern wiring.
Other features include a riftsawn maple neck with ’69 “U”-shaped profile, 7.25″-radius round-lam rosewood fingerboard, three-ply Parchment pickguard, 21 medium-jumbo #6105 frets, American Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style “F”-stamped tuning machines, bone nut and wing string tree with nylon spacer. It includes a deluxe hardshell case, strap and Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity.
