Fascinator Model 4970 (BY GIBSON) Archtop Guitar (1935)

These Gibson built guitars were initially marketed as the Fascinator brand for a year or two by Tonk Bros. of Chicago. Shortly after they were re-branded as Cromwell and sold through Continental Music of Chicago and several other retailers. 16″ archtop body (similar to L-50). Sunburst finish on top and back. X-braced spruce top. Mahogany back and sides. 14-fret mahogany neck. Built by Gibson. With period hard shell case (green lining).
