Additionally, the Effects Interface breaks your favorite plugins out of your computer for use in your full guitar rig. No need for special converters or direct boxes, the Effects Interface handles your signal and delivers it with care between your hardware and software via a simple USB-C connection.

The Effects Interface Hardware Plugin operates in three distinct modes: Hardware Plugin Mode, Pedalboard Mode, and Audio Interface Mode.

In Hardware Plugin Mode, tracks can be routed from a DAW through any gear for the familiar and tactile feel of physical effects. Run vocals through an analog delay pedal, horns through a wah, or warm up MIDI tracks with a preamp pedal. Using the Effects Interface Plugin in a DAW routes the signal through the unit’s send and return via USB-C.

Pedalboard Mode allows a guitar signal to be run through any favorite plugins from a DAW and back into the signal chain for full hybrid rig integration. From preamps to exclusive plugin-based effects, this mode makes them physically playable on a pedalboard.

The Electro-Harmonix Effects Interface Hardware Plugin knocks down the walls between physical and plugin effects, turning pedals into outboard gear and plugins into real-world pedalboard additions—all with a simple USB connection.
