Built by Fender Custom Shop for Alto music, this ’52 relic wang machine has an authentic, traditional vibe, with just enough tweaks to excite any serious player. Traditionalists will love the hand-sorted lightweight Ash body with a beautifully pronounced grain that pops through the translucent faded blonde finish. Full-time and veteran players will appreciate the compound radius (9.5”-12.0”) one-piece neck, fat but tapered carve, and “taller than vintage” 47095 Jescar frets and bone nut.

Under the relic’d black ‘guard and ’52 spec brass saddle bridge plate site, one more traditionally modern twist. A pair of hand-wound Custom Shop pickups are hand-wound for a perfectly balanced set. The “Twisted Tele” neck position pickup brings a touch of extra heat and slightly scooped mids for classic Tele Twang. In the bridge position sits an OBG (Original Black Guard) flat-pole pickup that provides a classic, brightly articulated Tele bite.
