This collection presents 99 popular classical themes arranged as single-note melodies for guitar with chord accompaniment. Each piece is presented in standard notation and tablature followed by chord diagrams and a suggested strumming pattern. This book will serve as an introduction to the classics for the beginning guitarist as well as a good source for the more advanced player who needs to supplement his or her repertoire with “fake book” style arrangements of well-known classical themes. The songs range from easy to quite challenging, and represent a wide variety of styles.
