TBCS It is classic body style that players from John Entwistle to Nikki Sixx have rocked in studio and on stage. Now available in an active model, the TBCS is actually a product of 30+ years of design experience. Reproducing an extended range cleanly – both higher AND lower – taxes the abilities of conventional pickups. In the TBCS, we have succeeded in getting this extended range by utilizing an ultra low noise, low-impedance internal preamp, paired with parallel placed coils like the DC, but loaded with ceramic steel. The result is that the TBCS is much warmer as a result of the higher inductance of the steel, and thus has a smoother attack and a flatter high end. This model is the most ”Traditional” sounding of the group, from Classic Rock to Heavy Metal this pickup performs.
