At a mere half micron thin your strings will still play and feel like an uncoated set. Cleartone strings are manufactured by hand and treated in house at our California factory using only the most premium materials. Our proprietary string winding technology coupled with our talented winders and strict quality control ensure that you receive consistent, high quality, long lasting guitar strings. Each set of strings is vacuum sealed so that they arrive in exactly the condition they left the factory. Cleartone was founded in 1996 by Phil Everly of the Everly Brothers. Unhappy with string options at the time, Phil started the company from the ground up and developed proprietary methods and techniques in an effort to produce the perfect set of strings. Cleartone Strings manufactures guitar accessories under multiple brand names including Everly Strings, Cleartone Strings, Sevilla Strings, EQ Strings, and Star Picks. All products are manufactured in the companys North Hollywood, CA facility. The company is run by Phil Everlys eldest son, Jason Everly.
