The SSL-1 Vintage Staggered Strat is Seymour Duncan’s period-correct, vintage-output single-coil Stratocaster pickup. Hand-ground Alnico 5 rod magnets and heavy Formvar wire combine to deliver the classic chime, bell-like clarity, and sparkle of ’50s Strat pickups. Each bobbin is wax-potted for squeal-free performance and features traditional cloth push-back hookup wire.

Available with right- or left-handed stagger, this pickup offers authentic brightness and note-to-note separation. It pairs beautifully in the neck, middle (RWRP for noise cancellation), or bridge positions, and works equally well as part of a full set or as a standalone upgrade.
