The Les Paul Modern Lite embodies the classic style of the Les Paul but with a new, thinner all-mahogany body that is both lighter and well-balanced. The body also features a belly cut on the rear for additional playing comfort. The mahogany neck features a rosewood fretboard and fast-playing SlimTaper profile. Available in five attention-grabbing satin nitrocellulose lacquer finishes and for the first time on a Core Les Paul model, each Les Paul Modern Lite also includes a matching headstock, adding to its visual appeal.

This guitar is in very good shape. There are only a few signs of wear, namely the finish being worn down in a few areas due to its matte nature. The corners of the headstock have worn down a bit as pictured, as well as a few scratches throughout. Overall, this guitar has been very well taken care of. Great first Gibson!

The stock pickups have been modded to a DongHong humbucker-sized P-90 in the neck and a Gibson 490R in the bridge for a more versatile range of tones when compared to the stock configuration. Middle position is ‘out of phase’. Comes with OEM Gibson-branded gigbag.
