Maybe the Real Treasure… is a collaboration between Baltimore Sonic Research Institute and Alec Breslow of Mask Audio Electronics. What began as a couple of simple ideas grew in wild directions, resulting in a fuzz pedal shaped by Alec’s love of abrasive textures and BSRI’s obsession with knobs, flexibility, and sonic heft. It looks like a BSRI pedal, but the artwork and control layout clearly nod to Alec’s aesthetic. Designed for fuzz fanatics who want more—more texture, more saturation, more chaos—this pedal is a love letter to all the fuzzes encountered along the way.

• Loud sets overall output volume with exaggerated scaling from subtle to overwhelming
• Texture is a tilt EQ stage that adjusts the overall voicing and feel of the fuzz
• Push acts as an interstage attenuator for gain staging and octave fuzz interaction
• Splode controls gain in the main fuzz stage and affects stability and response
• Depth boosts a 100 Hz EQ band for added low-end force and tonal weight
