Gibson Nick Lucas Special Acoustic Guitar (1929)

Nick Lucas was an international star as early as 1922, and was one of the first musicians to record guitar solos. As such, he was also the first artist with a signature guitar (which he helped design) for Gibson.  This fine-sounding Nick Lucas Special guitar from 1929 has the earlier small body with ~13-5/8″ lower bout, mahogany back and deep mahogany sides (~4-3/16” at neck; ~4-5/8” at endpin), pearl “The Gibson” logo straight across the peghead,  and the neck meets the body at the 12th fret.
